I was in the Book of Amos this morning. It's theme is on man's complacency and lust for the good things in life verses God's desire for us to obey Him and take care of the less fortunate. Verses, words, and phrases in Amos really struck home ie you fat cows. The thought was being more concerned with our pleasure and wealth than with following God's ways and His instructions. I guess that brings me to sacrifice. Anything in the kingdom requires some sacrifice. What am I not willing to sacrifice? That's usually what God wants. He actually wants everything.
