When I was doing my devotional this morning I came across several verses which really touched my spirit. Tell me if they touch yours?
Ps 90:12 Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.
Ps 14:2 The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; He looks to see if there is even one with real understanding, one who seeks for GOD.
Pr. 28:14 Blessed are those who have a tender conscience, but the stubborn are headed for serious trouble.
Pr. 28:7 a Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing.
You know when I started my spiritual journey I didn't even know you needed a Bible. The women who shared the Good News with me, Helen MacIntosh at All Souls Langham Place asked me if I had a Bible. I had been going to church for seven years and I didn't even know you needed one. She told me to get one and read it. Read it from start to finish she advised. I did. I try to make it part of my day, as soon as I wake up to read God's Word for 15 min. It is a good anchor for whatever life brings.
