Hi it's misfitmom here. Just finished a full week of work and I'm not as pooped as last week. That's the good news. Alexandra send me her missionyear journal letter for the month. I thought this might be a good place to share some of it with you. In hopes that you might either pray for her or be encouraged by it to do similiar works for the LORD.

I want to be a vessel in which the Spirit can well up in me and overflow to all those WHO I come in contact with. I want to be a person who fights for justice for the oppressed and spends myself on behalf of the poor (Isaiah 58). Basically I want to be about my Father's business in all areas of my life. In order for that to happen, I am daily praying for less of me and so much more of the Lord!
Please pray for my team and me as we serve the Lord with visions in our minds and hearts. I would like to encourage you to expect God-sized opportunities in your own life. Certainly, you do not have to be "on the mission field" to have a ministry, so dream big about the ways in which you can serve the Lord in your own community!
