It's me misfitmom having just survived a misfit moment. Are there any mothers out there who have experienced a "Humpty Dumpty" moment. A moment where you feel spiritually and emotional like your fell off the wall and all the kings horses and all the kings men could put Humpty Dumpty together again. Yet by the power of GOD it is possible. The glue is still wet. My spirit and emotions are still realing from the event.
Have you ever tried to bless a child and it turn into a catastrophy?
I pray that I can love my son in the way he needs to be loved. I pray that we can communicate in an effective way that is pleasing unto the LORD. If anyone has any suggestions for parenting a grown child, I sure would like to hear them.

Anyone remember the song "America" from West Side Story. Well that is the song that's coming up on my media player now. An oldie but a goodie, just like me.
This morning I was praying for Jan from a book called Praying for our Husbands, by Stormie something or another. I really should get the book upstairs and get her right name. For the book is very worthwhile. OK I did, mind you I had a 20 min. diversion along the way. The name of the book is "THE POWER OF A PRAYING WIFE BY STORMIE OMARTIAN. Check it out. Today I was praying against fear in my husband's life.
One of the prayers goes " Lord, You've said in Your Word that "there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love: I pray You will perfect my husband in Your love so that tormenting fear finds no place in him. I know You have not given him a spirit of fear. You've given him power, love, and a sound mind. I pray in the name of Jesus that fear will not rule over my husband. Instead, may Your Word penetrate every fier of his being, convincing him that Your love for him is far greater than anything hear faces and nother can separate him from Your love."

It's been almost a month since I've been posting. I am so sorry to when I get lax in my blogging. I feel as if I'm letting someone down. So, please accept my apology if I have.
What a praise, I picked up Alexandra from the airport yesterday. She's home until Monday afternoon. That really delights my soul. When I saw her at the airport my heart skipped a beat. Joyful joyful was the song of my heart.
Alexandra feels a leading to teach inner city high school math. For that she has to go back to school in order to get her license. She's in the middle of sending NC State University her transcript along with $50.00 to analyse her transcript and see what courses she needs in order to get qualified as a teacher. Please pray that the process goes smoothly.
This Sunday is Easter. I'm starting to reflex on Christ's last week. I've been reading Eph 1-3 this week. It speaks about the unity of the body of Christ. We are neither Jew or Gentile when we are in Christ. But one church sharing the blessing and the promises of GOD. That's pretty good news for me today. Have a blessed day. Count five things you're grateful for today and share them with someone you know.

So much has happened in the last couple of weeks. Last week we rented a flat in Charlotte which seems to mark the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. Jan and I are in the process of moving to Charlotte. We're looking for a house but must rent or sell our house before we really can do that. Please pray that we can rent it. For I think that's the better road to take at least at this juncture in time.
Today I was in the chapter 12 and 13 of 2 Corin. I remember REJOICE, change your ways, encourage each other, live in unity and God's love and peace will be with you always. Isn't that a great message for today. Read the chapters and tell me what speaks to your spirit.
I'm working as a private duty nurse for the next couple of days in Winston-Salem. Taking care of someone who just had back surgery. You can count your blessings one by one when you have good health. Let us REJOICE today.
