I’m listening to Gary Shelton’s music this morning. He’s incredible, really worshipful. When I was in Harrisburg, PA. He led the praise music. What an experience we had. God of wonders beyond our galaxy, you are Holy, Holy. The universe declares your majesty. You are Holy, Holy. Precious LORD reveal Your heart tonight. Father hold me, Father hold me, Father hold me. LORD of heaven and earth. I wish I knew how to add a music clip I’d love you to share in my experience right now and I’m sure Gary would love you to do so too.

My daily devotions and maybe yours too….

1 Peter 4: 7 -11

7The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. 8Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 9Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay.

10God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you. 11Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then God will be given glory in everything through Jesus Christ. All glory and power belong to him forever and ever. Amen.

The passages highlighted spoke to my spirit this morning. First be earnest and disciplined in your prayer. I received several messages lately from various people and from God Himself, not to be weary in prayer. I wanted to look up the word earnest for it appears several times in the Bible, be earnest in prayer. So what does that really mean? God please tell my spirit what You mean by that. Does it have to do with honesty, diligence, perserverance, or something else. Maybe a combination of all those things and more? I looked up the definition in the dictionary:
a serious and intent mental state . INTERESTING!

The second thought that touched my spirit was using my spiritual gifts in a way that glorifies GOD. Do I always use my gifts with that end in sight? No, probably not, if I was honest. LORD help me to keep glorifying you at the top of my list and consciousness.
