Yesterday I was proactive. I wrote not only to my two Senators, but also to the President and Vice President outlining my concerns with the gas utility company. My bill went up 120% and that's with a digital thermostat that was suppose to reduce the consumption by 33%. The numbers don't add up. Not only for me, but what about people who are living on the edge? I think the Federal government has to do something. They have to regulate the gas utility again.
