The morning is better than the night usually. I wonder why? I guess I'm tired, weary, and not as prayed up in the night than when I get up in the morning.

As I was doing my study this morning, it spoke about the snowball effect of emotions. One of the questions asked: "Pick two of the following emotions you have experienced and describe how the snowball effect can cause them to grow."

Worry Anger Grief Loneliness Shame Frustration Resentment Depression

I picked the first two. Not to say I'm not battling with all of these emotions from time to time.

It is amazing that when you let your emotions have control they tend to go into a free fall. So, you might ask what does my study say to do. It lists some verses and tells us what God says to individuals who were going through similar times.

Gen 15:1, Deu 31:6, 1 Chron 28:20, Is. 41:13

Todays study ends with "TAKING ACTION"
Be honest with God about your feelings. Instead of allowing your emotions to steer you away from God, purposefully turn your attention to the LORD in times of intense emotional distress. Tell Him your struggles and ask Him to reveal His perspective and power.
Talk to the LORD about any all consuming emotions you are experiencing. As Him to help you be emotionally still so your actions can be controlled by what you know to be true rather than by what you feel.
