Sometimes I think why am I blogging? No one reads my blog. Is this all a waste of time? Then someone calls me Stacy from Hope of Israel called yesterday and said "Susan, I have just spent the last hour and a half reading your blog. I didn't know you before, but now I feel like I really know you". Wow! What encourgement for me to continue blogging. I know there is a spiritual nugget in there. Must be, don't give up. You never know when what you say or do will bear fruit. Probably other nuggets as well.

I don't know if I've blogged about Jan's illness or not. But he is very sick. I need your prayers. I won't go into details but just know the systems and organs that are not working properly, his heart, his circulatory system, his lungs, his liver, and they may be more that I'm not aware of at this point. Please pray that he would be part of the solution and not part of the problem. That he would give up smoking completely with God's power to overcome. That God would heal him and put him back together again, a bit like Humpty Dumpty. That he would minister to others through this and because of this illness. Thank you thank you thank you.
