I'm still thinking of starting a non profit. If there is anyone out there who could help me I would be very grateful.
I was in Zech 4 today and was struck by verse 10
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. These words are not only encouragement for me but for everyone who is beginning a good work. I love to see where and how the LORD rejoices. What can we do to make Him rejoice? I think we rejoice when He rejoices.
Then I was in Rev. 14 today. Do you know that Revelation is the only book that promises a blessing from God if you read it. There must be some information in that book which is vital for us to know. Let's search out the mysteries together.
In Rev. 14:12
12Here [comes in a call for] the steadfastness of the saints [the patience, the endurance of the people of God], those who [habitually] keep God's commandments and [their] faith in Jesus
I was meditating on the thought that God still wants us to be steadfast, have patient endurance even inspite of the storms of life, keep his commandments, and continue to have faith and trust in the Lord Jesus.
Somewhere it also talked about producing fruit that will last forever. What fruit have I produced lately? I think of my children. Not only are they the fruit of my loins but they are active in their church and producing fruit themselves. I do want to start this non profit that will be a resource to the women in Charlotte. It will cover medical, housing, crisis management, self esteem, referrals, etc. If anyone is interested in volunteering please contact me asap. :)
