This weekend is Earth Day weekend. It's a time for reflection and personal choices. Feeling as if the problem is huge. I know that the longest journey starts with the first step. So, the question is what is my first step. Taken with Diane Sawyer's comments on plastic cups, bottles, and bags, I have decided to buy a cotton shopping bag instead of the countless plastic bags I use. Also I will be purchasing a stainless steel drinking bottle that I can wash daily. Why don't we use biodegradable plastics? They are out there.
Proverbs 13:20-23
20 Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.
21 Trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous.
22 Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren, but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.
23 A poor person’s farm may produce much food, but injustice sweeps it all away.
