This morning I was watching Good Morning America and the host was sharing infomation about a new check scam. It is so bad that one woman killed herself after being taken for over $40,000. Here is a story and video at the Good Morning America link that can tell you how the scam works. But Mommilner will give you the short version. If anyone tells you you won something, or is buying something, renting something, or in other words giving you money for anything and overpays. (That's a red flag right there) Then wants you to return a portion of the money they overpaid, run to the hills and flag them as a con man/ or con woman. DON'T PART WITH YOUR MONEY, IT'S CHECK FRAUD.
