4x4 Missions
This is the name of the project I am thinking about. After hearing that there are hundreds of women and children who are homeless in Charlotte because they can not afford housing and food at this time, my spirit was moved to do something.
I called the Salvation Army Shelter, several calls, no connections as yet. People did call me back, I called them, but I'm still waiting on the return call. I also called Charlotte Housing Authority to find out that they do not do temporary housing but do have thousands on the waiting list for section 8 housing. Another problem with them community. Yet when there are problems there are also opportunities. It's just the way you look at things. Especially in this climate of real estate not moving.
So, I thought if we could rent a place and put 4 families in it, get them set up in a business, with the aim of self reliance, then they in turn can help 4 other familes do the same.
What do you think? Any ideas you have would be gratetfully received.
