I'm thinking about going to Mexico for a dental holiday. Dental care is a fraction of the price here in the States. My friend David Spence's family is in Monterrey Mexico and he is traveling there from Virginia in the near future. He himself had an estimate of between $15-$20K for dental work. His family friend who is a teacher at the dental school and in private practice did all his work for $1,500.00. Now how is that possible? But bearing that in mind my estimate was over $15K and I'm hoping to get it all done for under $2,500.00.
So many Americans are retiring to Mexico. Private insurance is about $300.00 a year with no preexisting clauses. I say let's all go South of the Boarder, where greed is much less and medical care is affordable. Something has to change. I pray that President Obama will indeed facilitate a nationalized medical program for every American.
